New York City Walking Tour

August 4th and 5th I got to go to New York with Bruce for a quick visit. He was there to work but I was there to just have fun. Saturday I took a walking tour of the city which led me through Times Square and Central Park. I also do some shopping and I figure I walked over 6 miles on Saturday. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures that I took while on the walk.

Saturday night, Bruce and I had dinner at Grand Central Station’s Oyster Bar. Our second time there but it is so good and just what we wanted. On Sunday I was up early to watch the Olympic Women’s marathon. Then Bruce and I went to the 9/11 memorial and did more shopping at Century 21. After a quick lunch, Bruce went back to work and I did a little more walking around New York before we caught our plane. I just love New York.  I love the fact that in the middle of the city is this beautiful park and everyone is out doing something. It makes it very exciting. I can’t wait to go back. What is your favorite thing to do while in New York? Or what is the top of your list to do on your first visit?
